BAT OUT OF HELL PT. IV

I love bats. They scare people. They're way smaller than whatbwe imagine them to be and hey, they connect with the same titled incredible song from Meat Loaf and ofcourse the Prince Of Darkness himself Ozzy Osbourne. I try to capture this one as realistic a possible and where I first had a high gloss varnish I changed that to matte and that works amazing! acrylics on wood panel in a vintage black frame. SATANAS IN VANITAS

It's not very often that I use oil paints to work with bt this is one of the rare occasions. I tried to capture the 'feeling' of the old vanitas paintings from the 1700's and give it my own 'Satanic' twist. All featured items including the Satanic sacrifice dagger and human skull are from my own collection. It comes in an antique, restored fram. Size is 118 x 83 cm.
